Introducing VITA for Warren & Washington Counties — an IRS-certified network of volunteers who can help qualified low and moderate income individuals and families prepare federal and state tax returns for free.

Last year, VITA volunteers in Warren and Washington counties helped local residents bring back more than $2.6 million in federal and state income tax refunds. That’s additional money back in the hands of local residents and our overall local economy. Without the VITA program, many of these individuals and families never would have filed for an income tax refund or earned tax credits.
